ONLINE CHRISTIAN COUNSELING blends spiritual elements with professional mental health counseling. For many people seeking treatment for mental health issues, involving their faith with the personal growth and emotional work they do inside and out of therapy can help their success. Many licensed Christian therapists can diagnose and treat mental illness. Clients of Christian therapists don’t have to be of the same faith, and even non-Christians may seek a Christian counselor instead of a secular one.

Do you have a prayer request? Contact SILENT UNITY, a 24/7 prayer ministry at 1-800-NOW-PRAY (669-7729). Silent Unity uses “affirmative prayer.” Affirmative prayer is the same method of prayer Jesus taught when he said, “So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24). If, for example, one were to pray traditionally, one might say: “Please God, help me find a job.” By contrast, an affirmative prayer might be: “I am now guided to my right and perfect employment.”
